Gracie Orton finished 2nd in the 800m last night with a time of 2:40 and Ryleigh Curry finished 10th out of 27th. Great work girls!!!
6th grader Gracie Orton took on some of the fastest Middle schoolers in Middle Teneessee at Brentwood Academy tonight. Gracies PR was 6:10 coming into this meet and tonight she shattered that time with a 5:52!!! Thats an 18 second PR!! #proud #fearless
As we prepare to launch MS Track in 2024 we had a few kids interested in track, so we gave it a test RUN. Last night, in the driving rain, Gracie Orton, in her first track meet, WON with a 1600 time of 6:10! There were 34 girls she competed against. Ryleigh Curry ran the 800 meter in 3:06 placing 7th out of 41! We are happy for them and look forward to introducing the the next generation of runners, jumpers, and throwers in the Spring of 2024!!
